Published on November 18, 2025

Emily Jenner has joined Howden as Managing Director (MD) of its new Global Financial Sponsors (GFS) division, a specialist practice for large private equity and alternative investment clients.

As MD, Jenner will run a dedicated team focused on supporting financial sponsors throughout the entire deal lifecycle.

This support will span from initial pre-transaction due diligence through to portfolio optimisation, ultimately enabling smarter decisions and driving greater value creation.

Jenner will concentrate GFS efforts on three key areas: strengthening Howden’s engagement with large global sponsors to enhance client coverage;providing expert support across M&A and financing; and developing tailored insurance solutions for portfolio companies.

Drew Wardrope, Divisional CEO of Howden CAP, stated: “GFS is built to accelerate value creation for sponsor clients in a connected and strategic way – filling a clear gap in the market.”

The executive has joined Howden from Eldin Risk Partners, where she most recently served as Head, EMEA. Prior to that, she worked at Zodia – founded by SC Ventures – as Chief Risk Officer. She has also held a number of positions at Standard Chartered Bank and WTW.
