Tokio Marine Kiln appoints Alex Dugand as Strategy Officer

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a global specialty insurer, has announced the appointment of Alex Dugand as Strategy Officer.

TMK is an international insurer known for its specialist underwriting expertise, outstanding claims service, and innovative products.

Dugand has been with TMK for nearly 20 years, joining in 2007 as a Reinsurance Underwriter.

Since then, he has served in various senior roles, including Regional Managing Director and most recently International Development Officer.

This appointment follows a series of recent hires, including Oliver Delaney as Departmental Head of Liability in April 2025, and Jake Burgess as Fine Art and Specie Underwriter and Ella Henderson as Life Sciences Underwriter in March 2025.
