Gigleux joins Gallagher Re’s EMEA team as Senior Reinsurance Broker

Reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the addition of Julie Gigleux to its Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) team as a Senior Reinsurance Broker.

Gigleux will be part of the team serving the French, Belgium and Luxembourg markets as well as the Large and Complex client segment in the broader EMEA region.

“Her deep expertise in European casualty and client management has provided her with a breadth of experience across segments,” a Gallagher Re spokesperson noted.

Prior to Gallagher Re Gigleux served as Client Manager at Munich Re for over two years, a role she started following her six-year tenure at NewRe.

Gigleux joined NewRe in 2016 as an Assistant Casualty Underwriter focusing on UK Liability and Greece & Cyprus. She was then appointed Casualty Associate Underwriter before becoming Casualty Underwriter responsible for France, Benelux, Greece and Cyprus.

In 2021 the executive was promoted to Senior Casualty Underwriter at NewRe, and was responsible for non-motor Liability accounts placed out of the London Market.

Prior to NewRe, the executive worked at 5ème Set as Head Of Communications and at La Banque Postale as Financial Advisor Assistant before that.
