Invesco appoints Joe Steidl as Head of UK Insurance distribution
Global asset manager Invesco has announced the appointment of Joe Steidl as Head of UK Insurance Distribution.
Based in London, Steidl will report to Sachin Bhatia, Head of UK Pensions & EMEA Consultant Relations.
In his new role, Steidl will join the UK distribution management team, where he will be responsible for developing the distribution strategy and sales plan across the UK insurance channel and leading business development for UK insurance clients.
Steidl brings over 15 years of experience working with UK and European institutional investors and consultants. He joins Invesco from Research Affiliates, where he spent nine years as Partner, Head of EMEA Institutional Sales and Strategic Partnerships.
Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales and Business Development at MSCI Inc. and earlier served as an Internal Consultant at Investec.

Invesco also announced two promotions. Sean Connery has been appointed Head of Ireland Institutional and Director of UK Insurance, taking on additional responsibilities within the insurance distribution team, working alongside Steidl. Additionally, Sachin Bhatia will expand his role to include the insurance team alongside his current responsibilities as Head of UK Institutional and EMEA Consultant Relations.
Kate Dwyer concluded, “All of the distribution team across the UK will work collaboratively to deliver our capabilities and exceptional service to our clients”.
