59 unlisted life insurers post combined net profit of US$1.3bn for 1H2024

A total of 59 insurers reported a combined net profit of CNY9,415m ($1,300m) for 1H2024, with just two insurers -- China Post and Taikang Life -- chalking up an aggregate net profit of CNY11,737m.
