Gallagher expands European cyber leadership with latest senior hire

Gallagher has appointed Aldo Borsani as the Head of Cyber for Europe, where he will enhance the insurance and reinsurance broker’s products and services, collaborate with existing clients and teams across Europe, and lead new business growth.

Borsani brings nearly ten years of experience from Chubb, where he most recently served as the Financial Lines & Cyber Underwriting Manager for Southern Europe.

He also spent four years with Chubb’s US cyber and professional liability underwriting team in New York.

Based in Spain, Borsani will report to Nepomuk Loesti, Chief Commercial Officer for Europe.

Loesti commented: “Aldo is a great fit for Gallagher, he has great energy and technical understanding of cyber risks having spent the last ten years underwriting this specialist class including in the US, one of the most advanced cyber markets.”
