Insurance Advisory Partners names ex-Chaucher CEO, Johan Slabbert as its senior advisor
Insurance Advisory Partners (IAP), an specialised investment bank in insurance and insurtech industry, has appointed Johan Slabbert as Senior Advisor, based in London.
Slabbert is an industry veteran with over twenty-seven years of experience, having worked extensively in the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America and Japanese markets.

Slabbert served as both Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) covering both Consumer and Commercial Insurance expanding of Chaucer Limited at Lloyd’s of London and US MGAs producing E&S business.
The executive’s other key roles include CEO of MSIG North America and MS Amlin AUL; Chairman at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance company Europe Limited and CEO and Founder Augustus Specialty.
Before these roles, he was in various senior finance and non-finance positions across all continents for over sixteen years at AIG.
