David Bendle, incumbent Group Chief Operating Officer, will retire as planned at the end of the year after 22 years of service.

Richard Milner, Group Chief Executive Officer at Chaucer, commented on the appointment, “We are delighted to welcome Hayley as Chaucer’s new Group Chief Operating Officer.

“Her strong operational background, and considerable experience will be key in ensuring we maintain a fully optimised operating model across every aspect of the Group.”

Spink herself added, “I’m greatly looking forward to joining Chaucer and working closely with the team to build on Chaucer’s excellent reputation.”
