CFC Canada adds Kelly McGuinness to its team

CFC Canada is welcoming seasoned insurance professional Kelly McGuinness as Cyber, Tech and Professional Liability Development Leader.

McGuinness will be based in CFC’s first office on the ground in Canada, based in Toronto, and will be working closely with new CEO of CFC Canada, Kate Della Mora.

She will also be working with existing Canada-facing teams in the UK to provide Canadian brokers across the country with enhanced support on these specific lines of business.

Della Mora commented: “I am thrilled to welcome Kelly to the new team that we’re building here in Canada. Her technical knowledge, relationships and professionalism are second to none and she will be a huge asset to our business as we seek to deepen our partnerships with brokers across the country. McGuinness brings over a decade of proven industry experience, specialising in cyber and tech insurance to her new role.

She joins CFC following three and a half years with Coalition, where she most recently served as Team Lead Canada, Production Underwriting and Business Development.

“CFC is the recognised pioneer of cyber insurance here in Canada and is the market leader for a reason – its product proposition is second to none and it has led the way in the development of proactive cyber protection,” adds McGuinness.
