Praedicat promotes David Loughran to Chief Operating Officer

David Loughran has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Praedicat, the liability emerging risk analytics company.

Loughran, who previously served as Praedicat’s Senior Vice President of Product & Chief Economist, has been with the company for more than 11 years.

In fact, Loughran is one of the co-founder’s of the organisation, which was launched in 2012.

In his previous role, Loughran played a critical role in developing the theoretical framework, analytical methods, and data structures that underlie the company’s emerging risk and insurance modeling platforms.

Prior to joining Praedicat as a founding member, Loughran served as a Senior Economist at the RAND Corporation.

In this role, he served as principal investigator for a diverse portfolio of empirically-driven, policy-relevant research in the areas of insurance, labor markets, demography, and energy.

In June 2023, global re/insurance broker Aon expanded its strategic collaboration with Praedicat to assist it in advising clients on the transfer and mitigation of complex and evolving liability risks.
