Allianz has announced the launch of a new in-house team dedicated to managing Financial Lines claims. This move aims to provide seamless support to brokers and customers who rely on Allianz’s Directors & Officers and Professional Indemnity products.

For more complex matters requiring legal assistance, Allianz partners with specialist solicitors from Clyde & Co, known for their global expertise. These legal experts are available to guide brokers and customers through every stage of their claim process.

Additionally, Professional Indemnity customers in the construction, design, or build sectors receive a complimentary collateral warranty review, enhancing the legal support provided.

Mark Merrix, head of casualty claims at Allianz Commercial, emphasised the significance of this development, stating, “Bringing our Financial Lines claims team in-house for the first time ensures that we can deliver the best possible service to both our brokers and customers”.

Merrix further highlighted that this new initiative guarantees ongoing support for brokers and customers throughout their journey – from understanding product requirements to claims processing and legal assistance, if required.

The dedicated financial lines team focuses exclusively on Allianz’s Directors & Officers and Professional Indemnity propositions. By closely collaborating with branch distribution teams and local brokers, they aim to streamline and simplify the trading process, further solidifying Allianz’s presence in the market.
