Shannan Fort appointed International Cyber Product Leader, Marsh Specialty
Insurance broker and risk advisor and business of Marsh McLennan, Marsh, has hired Shannan Fort as International Cyber Product Leader, Marsh Specialty, where she will report to Gregory Eskins, Global Cyber Insurance Center Leader, and Kelly Butler, UK Cyber Leader, Marsh Specialty.
Fort’s appointment is effective April 1, 2024, and she will be based in London.
Overall, she brings over 16 years of international experience towards her new role.
She will join the broker from McGill and Partners, where she has served as a Partner – Financial Lines, Cyber, since November 2020.
In addition, Fort previously worked for re/insurance broker Aon for 13 years in a variety of leadership roles in New York and London, including Cyber Product Development Leader in Aon’s Global Broking Centre.
Moreover, as part of Marsh’s newly created Global Cyber Insurance Center which launched on January 1, Marsh has confirmed that Fort will focus on product innovation and commercialisation and services that support clients in developing solid risk management and resilience strategies that respond to existing and emerging cyber threats.
The role will also see her work closely with Marsh McLennan’s cyber risk experts to provide technical product support and training to clients globally.
