Gallagher Bassett appoints Manan Sagar as UK CEO

Gallagher Bassett, the provider of risk and claims management services and a wholly owned subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has appointed Manan Sagar as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the UK.

Most recently, Sagar was the Global Head of Insurance at Genesys for more than two years. Here, he was in charge of leading sales teams globally on strategic pursuits, growing the Global Insurance Vertical from $28 million ACV to $62 million ACV in 12 months.

Sagar started his career as a Trainee at Deloitte in 2000, and has since held several industry roles such as Audit Senior at KPMG, and Sarbanes Oxley Testing Manager at Prudential Assurance.

He has also served as the Chief Technical Officer, EMEIA at Fujitsu UK, driving its strategy for the insurance sector.

Previously, Sagar was the Transformation Director at Capita for more than three years and the Acquisition Director at Allied World, based out of Singapore and Hong Kong.

He served as the CEO of Lockton Companies for more than two years, based out of Singapore. At Lockton, he grew revenue by 20% by refocusing the organisation to build on Lockton Singapore’s market-leading financial lines position and introduced further capability.

In the past, he served as the International Operations Director of Lockton Companies as well.
