AXA Health enters into strategic reinsurance agreement with NextGen i.i.

AXA PPP Healthcare Limited (AXA Health), the global life and health reinsurance firm, has entered into a reinsurance agreement with NextGen International Insurance (NextGen i.i) to introduce new International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) solutions to the market.

This collaboration aims to significantly enhance the insurance solutions available in the market, and sees AXA Health provide reinsurance coverage to NextGen i.i., a provider of IPMI in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The reinsurance agreement between the two companies commenced in January 2024, with both committed to fostering a long-term relationship based on mutual trust and shared goals.

Laurent Pochat-Cottilloux, Chief Executive Officer, AXA Life & Health Reinsurance Solutions, commented, “This agreement will enable AXA Health to combine our industry-leading capabilities and resources to provide reinsurance coverage to NextGen i.i., who is delivering innovative insurance solutions aiming to meet the evolving needs of customers in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.”

NextGen i.i. brings a dedicated model for customer service and a strong market expertise in the health insurance industry in the region.
