
Anora names Jeffery Khoo as Chairman

Anora, a provider of customised/specially tailored underwriting solutions and pioneers in solar photovoltaic insurance, has appointed Jeffery Khoo as its new Chairman.
Most recently, Khoo served as Arbol’s Vice Chairman of APAC, having previously worked in senior roles such as Chief Marketing Officer, APAC (ED Broking) Head, Food and Agriculture Sales, Asia (Swiss Re Corporate Solutions), General Manager (SGX mainboard listed Guangzhao IFB), Agribusiness Director (Caudex Asia) and Deputy CEO (Green Agritech International).
Currently, Khoo is the Chairman of Community Care at NUSS, and has also previously held leadership roles such as Honorary Adviser to the Myanmar Rice & Paddy Association and Thailand’s Farmer Federation.
Khoo is a market veteran in parametric insurance and a prominent influencer in the agriculture insurance sector.
Founded in 2010, Anora strives to bridge the gap between risks and insurance by providing tailor-made solutions to transfer risks to the insurance market.
Using AI in its underwriting processes has greatly helped the speed, accuracy and efficiency of its offerings in the renewable energy sector, says the firm.
