Beatrice Morley named Global Head of Casualty & Head of Intl Reinsurance at Aspen

Beatrice Morley has been appointed to the role of Global Head of Casualty and Head of International Reinsurance at Aspen Insurance Group, where she will be based in London.

An experienced veteran across the industry, Morley has worked for Aspen for over 12 years, having joined the firm in 2011, as Head of Casualty, Treaty, Asia Pacific.

Throughout her time so far at the company she has held a number of leadership roles, including Head of Asia Pacific, Global Head of Casualty, Aspen Re, and Global Head of Casualty/ Head of International, Aspen Re.

Prior to joining Aspen, Morley worked at Catlin for a period of five years, where she served as a Casualty Underwriter.

Before Catlin, Morley spent six years working at global reinsurance giant Swiss Re, where she was based in Singapore. During her time at the firm she worked as a Casualty Underwriter.

Morley began her career in the industry in 1998, working as a Broker for Aon Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc.

Aspen has made a number of recent appointments, including Liz Garcia who recently joined the firm as Global Head of Property Reinsurance Claims, as well as Caryn Brough who was named Head of US Distribution, in addition to her current role as Group Head of Marketing.
